Protective washers are used as part of the fastening system to fix a variety of Ecofender newt fence and Terrastop silt fence materials to wooden support stakes.

Protective Washers

Protective washers are used as part of the fastening system to fix a variety of materials to wooden stakes.

The washer spreads the load of said material on to the fixing screw or nail to prevent tearing. These are commonly used for our Ecofender™ Newt Barrier sheets and Terrastop™ Silt Fences to attach support posts.

The washers should be used in conjunction with our clout nails.
